What started as a dream to bring immersive entertainment to the Upstate quickly turned into one of South Carolina's most unique family-owned entertainment businesses.
Our Story
Trapped in the Upstate was founded by Bonnie and Mark Lesney with the goal of creating immersive experiences that felt cinematic, memorable, and unlike anything else in the area.
What began with a single location in Greer has grown into multiple locations, original escape room experiences, team-building events, birthday parties, fundraisers, and one of the most recognized escape room brands in the Upstate.
Every room is built with story, atmosphere, and immersion in mind, from wholesome family adventures to cinematic horror experiences.

As a family-owned business, the goal has always been to create experiences that feel personal, exciting, and unforgettable. We've had the honor of hosting marriage proposals, baby announcements, bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthdays, and team-building.
