Featured Role
Game Hosts are the face of Trapped in the Upstate. They welcome guests, explain the rules, monitor games, provide hints when needed, reset rooms, and help create an exciting experience from start to finish.
This role is best for someone who is friendly, reliable, observant, comfortable with people, and able to think quickly when a room, prop, puzzle, or guest situation needs attention.

What Game Hosts Do
Greet guests, give briefings, answer questions, take photos, and help create a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
Watch game progress, send hints when needed, track room flow, and help teams have a smooth experience.
Reset rooms accurately, check props and locks, clean between groups, and help keep the location guest-ready.
A Note About Scheduling
Escape room staffing is based on reservations, and many games book the same day. We schedule based on expected demand, but shifts can be pushed back, adjusted, or cut if games do not book. Because of this, the role is a great fit for someone who wants flexible part-time work around school, another job, or other commitments.
